We
are a little family-run winery. In 1998, our father, Máximo Abete, restarted
the family wine tradition in order to create his own wine, monitoring the
entire process from the land to the bottle. Currently his daughters, Yoanna and
María, and Juanma (Yoanna´s husband) continue to craft high-quality artisan
wines. Two things underpin our work: on the one hand, we are vinegrowers. We
cultivate our vineyard using traditional and sustainable viticulture in order
to find the characteristic “terroir” of the “Baja Montaña”. This is the most
mountainous area within the Navarra Appellation and here, the vineyards are
planted on the slopes of the foothills and are interspersed with the forest,
creating a beautiful and unique landscape. On the other hand, in the winery, we
produce handmade wines with minimal intervention in order to maintain the
essential character of our grapes.

NOTES: An attractive, bright pink color with purple glints. Intense on the nose
with red berry fruits, and Apple and banana hints. Fresh attack and good
balance between acidity and fruitiness. A touch of tannin gives it complexity
and volumen and it has a lingering fruit finish.

VARIETIES: 100% Chardonnay
VINEYARD
AGE: “El Pino” plot, 9-year-old vines.
TASTING
NOTES: Very bright yellow colourwith greenish glints. Fresh and very fruity
aroma in which the tropical fruits stand out , green Apple hints with a floral
base. Fresh and acid attack, turning soft and creamy in the middle. Round and
structured, keeping the acidity until the end, and leaving a lingering finish.

VARIETIES: 100% Grenache.
VINEYARD
AGE: three different grenache plots, 10-year-old vines.
TASTING
NOTES: A perfect balance between fruit and freshness. It is a light red colour with
a bright purple rim. On the nose it is very fruity, with red fruits, violets
and very subtle oak. On the palate it is nimble and soft with a lot of fruit,
but the acidity coming trough giving it freshness.

VARIETIES: Grenache, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
VINEYARD
AGE: “Vallervitos” plot, 15-year-old vines.
TASTING
NOTES: Red ruby color with middle layer. High and complex aromatic intensity
characterised by balsamic aromas from the mountains, and mineral on a base of
ripe black fruits. Sbtle and elegant oak, with vanilla and black pepper hints.
It is silky on the palate, with sweet fruit and good acidity. It is a very
elegant wine with a soft and tasty tannin and lingering finish.

GRAPE
VARIETIES: 100% Graciano.
VINEYARD
AGE: “Navasentero” plot, 10-year-old vines.
TASTING
NOTES: Deep violet colour with pink glints and high layer. The variety gives
off an aromatic intensity of black fruits, floral aromas of violet, fine
leather and ink hints with a base of weet Wood. It shows a great complexity on
the nose. Its elegance balance stands out on the palate with a great amount of
fruit, a very sweet tannin and a notably persistent lingering finish.

VARIETIES: 100% Tempranillo.
VINEYARD
AGE: “La Crucica” and “Peralope” plots, 15-year-old vines.
TASTING
NOTES: Red ruby colour with purple rim. Very suggestive on the nose, combining
red fruits, forest fruits and liquorice with a touch of roasted coffee beans
from the oak. It is very elegant and silky on the palate. It is balanced and
rounded showing a lot of subtle hints with a lingering finish.
